16th Feb to.18th Feb : 42 elderly taken by Parivaar from Sehore district to Sadguru (Ranchhoddas) Sankalp Netralaya at Anandpur and undergo free cataract surgeries, medication and other vision support. We are now sending groups of 40-50 elderly every week and aimed at making our field areas across 240 villages in 7 districts cataract-free. The 16th Feb to 18th Feb

Two New Basketball Courts at Parivaar Bengal institutions

Two new courts – one at our boys’ campus and another at our girls’ campus are now ready and being used for training. Each court has lights and a viewers’ gallery too. The court at the Girls’ campus has been sponsored by Sachin Tendulkar. We have a fine Coaching Program run by Hi5 Foundation – Two New Basketball Courts at Parivaar Bengal institutions

3rd Round of Vision Restoration for elderly from Karahal (Sheopur)

On 3rd Feb, a group of 70 persons were taken by bus to Sadguru (Ranchhoddas) Seva Sangh Trust Hospital at Anandpur 250 km away (which included 54 elderly, 12 of their family attendants, and 4 of our sevavratees as coordinators). Scaling up of our hostels in Mandla district MP

Happy to share that we have scaled up the capacities of our hostels in Mandla town where girls and boys from Grade 9 to 12 are enrolled. There are now 82 girls in Parivaar Bhagini Nivedita Sadan and 56 boys in Parivaar Vivekananda Vidyarthi Sadan. All these boys and girls are from our 30 Seva Scaling up of our hostels in Mandla district MP

Starting of Parivaar Vivekananda Arogya Kutir – A Multi-speciality Clinic serving the underprivileged

We are delighted to announce the starting of a multi specialty clinic serving the underprivileged rural community in District 24 Parganas (South), West Bengal. The medical centre named as Parivaar Vivekananda Arogya Kutir (PVAK) was inaugurated on 12th January, the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. Patalkot in Chhindwara

Friends, in last 4 weeks I toured 109 villages in 5 districts of MP. Out of them was Chhindwara district where we have 22 Seva Kutirs in Tamia block. There is a region called Patalkot which has Bharia tribal population. The Patalkot area as the name indicates is 1700 feet below the surface level elevation Patalkot in Chhindwara

With 220 Seva Kutirs in as many interior tribal villages of MP, we have a solid platform which not enables us to execute not only our core deliverabkes of education with meals for 22 thousand children, but also several ancillary goals. 6000 sarees presented to elderly in tribal villages of MP.

Distribution of 6000 sarees to poor elderly women on Sarada Devi Janmatithi This 5th January, on the occasion of the Janma Tithi of Holy Mother Sarada Devi, we presented more than 6000 sarees to vulnerable poor elderly women across 215 tribal villages in 6 districts in MP. The elderly women guests were also treated with 6000 sarees presented to elderly in tribal villages of MP.

Conclusion of Parivaar Winter Relief for Vulnerable Elderly (13 thousand blankets distributed) We finished our Relief Efforts with a 4 day camp covering more than 40 adivasi villages of Jhargram district in West Bengal where 1500 elderly were served with warm Ludhiana blankets. Parivaar Winter Relief in Sundarbans

Parivaar team in Sundarbans (Winter Relief and Field Engagement) The Parivaar Bengal Sevavratee team camped in Sundarbans and visited more than a dozen villages, many of which were islands.
