This Privacy Policy explains how Parivaar Education Society (“Parivaar”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, protects and shares information when you use the Parivvar mobile application, website and related services, collectively referred to as the “Services”.
By accessing or using Parivvar, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Parivvar may collect the following information.
1.1 Account and contact information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
- Your name;
- Email address;
- Mobile phone number;
- User ID, username or account identifier;
- Organisation, role, designation or profile information;
- Login and authentication information; and
- Information you submit while using the Services.
We collect this information when you register, sign in, update your profile, complete a form, contact us or otherwise provide information through Parivvar.
1.2 Photos, camera images and documents
With your permission, Parivvar may access your device camera, photo library, media storage or file storage to allow you to:
- Take and upload photographs;
- Scan, select or upload documents;
- Attach photographs or files to forms, records and reports;
- Upload profile photographs;
- Submit supporting documents or evidence; and
- Use other photograph or document-based features offered by Parivvar.
Parivvar accesses photographs, camera images or documents only when required for a feature selected by you or when you provide permission. You may deny or withdraw camera, photograph or file permissions through your device settings. Some features may not work properly after the relevant permission is withdrawn.
1.3 Location information
With your permission, Parivvar may collect approximate or precise location information when location is required for a particular feature. Location information may be used for:
- Recording the location of an activity, service, visit or submission;
- Supporting authorised field or organisational activities;
- Displaying location-relevant information;
- Verifying the location of an authorised activity;
- Operational monitoring and reporting;
- Safety and security purposes; and
- Preventing misuse or fraudulent activity.
Location information is collected only according to the permission you provide through your device. You may disable location access at any time from your device settings. Disabling location permission may prevent location-dependent features from working.
1.4 Device and technical information
We may automatically collect limited device and technical information, including:
- Device type and device manufacturer;
- Device model;
- Operating system and operating-system version;
- Parivvar application version;
- Language and regional settings;
- IP address;
- Android ID;
- App instance ID or installation identifier;
- Other device or application identifiers;
- Push-notification token;

- Crash reports and diagnostic information;
- Application performance information;
- Login time and session information; and
- Security-related events.
This information may be used to operate Parivvar, maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent fraud, send notifications, understand technical performance and improve the Services.
1.5 Usage and activity information
We may collect information about how you interact with Parivvar, including:
- Features used;
- Screens viewed;
- Actions performed;
- Forms completed or submitted;
- Records created or updated;
- Documents or photographs uploaded;

- Other activity necessary to provide and improve the Services.

When you contact us, we may collect your name, contact details, message, attachments and other information necessary to respond to your request, resolve a problem or provide support.
2. How We Use Your Information
Parivaar Education Society may use information collected through Parivvar to:
- Create, authenticate and manage user accounts;
- Verify your email address or mobile phone number;
- Provide Parivvar’s business, productivity and organisational features;
- Process forms, records, reports, documents and user requests;
- Store and display information submitted through the Services;
- Enable camera, photograph, document-upload and location-based functions;
- Provide relevant information to authorised users and administrators;

- Send push notifications relating to your account or activities;

3. Device Permissions Used by Parivvar
Depending on the features available in your version of Parivvar, the application may request the following device permissions:

Parivvar requests permissions only when they are required for a particular feature. You may review, deny or withdraw permissions through your device settings.
4. How We Share Information
Parivaar Education Society does not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share or make information available only in the circumstances described below.
4.1 Authorised organisational users
If your Parivvar account is associated with Parivaar Education Society, another authorised organisation, programme, institution, project or team, information you submit may be accessible to authorised:
- Administrators;
- Managers;
- Supervisors;
- Team members;
- Programme staff; or
- Other authorised users.
Access is provided according to assigned roles, permissions and legitimate organisational requirements.
4.2 Service providers
We may use trusted third-party service providers to support functions such as:
- Cloud hosting and database storage;
- File and document storage;
- User authentication and account verification;
- Email, SMS and push notifications;
- Application analytics;
- Crash reporting and technical diagnostics;
- Application performance monitoring;

Information may be processed and stored on servers operated by Parivaar Education Society or by our trusted service providers. These servers may be located in India or in another country where our service providers operate.
Where information is transferred across jurisdictions, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the information receives appropriate protection in accordance with applicable law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet transmission, mobile application or storage system is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

- Provide and maintain Parivvar;
- Keep your account active;

- Maintain legitimate organisational records;

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Certain records may be retained where required by law or where necessary for security, fraud prevention, audit, accounting, dispute resolution or legal claims.
9. Account and Data Deletion
Users who have created an account may request deletion of their Parivvar account and associated personal information.
Where an account-deletion option is available inside Parivvar, you may submit your request through the application’s account or settings section.

Your request should include your registered name, email address or mobile number so that we can identify and verify your account.
After receiving and verifying your request, we will delete or anonymise your account and associated personal information, except where retention is necessary for:
- Compliance with applicable laws;
- Security and fraud prevention;
- Accounting, audit or reporting requirements;
- Dispute resolution;
- Protection of legal rights; or
- Other legitimate purposes permitted by law.
Information retained for these limited purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.
10. Children’s Privacy
Parivvar is primarily intended for authorised organisational, operational, educational, business and productivity-related use.
Some Parivaar Education Society programmes may involve children, students or beneficiaries. Where information relating to a child is collected, it should be provided or authorised by a parent, legal guardian, school, institution, organisation or another person legally permitted to provide such information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without appropriate consent or authorisation where such consent or authorisation is required.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been submitted without appropriate consent or authorisation, contact us at tech@parivaar.org. We will review the matter and take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Parivvar may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, platforms or services.
The privacy practices of independent third parties are governed by their respective privacy policies. Parivaar Education Society is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of independent third-party services.
We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing personal information to it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:
- Changes to Parivvar’s features;
- Changes to our data practices;
- Changes to third-party services;

- Operational or security requirements.

Where required, we may also provide an in-app notification or request renewed consent.
