Since February, we have started another impactful initiative using the Seva Kutir Platform – providing logistical support for healthcare access to patients of all age groups for various diseases and disabilities. 250th Seva Kutir opened

We are delighted to announce that we have reached the milestone of 250 Seva Kutirs (meals and education centres) in selected tribal pockets in 8 districts of MP. We now have 67 Kutirs in Sheopur, 30 in Mandla, 45 in Dewas, 42 in Sehore, 28 in Chhindwara, 28 in Khandwa, 7 in Vidisha, and 4 250th Seva Kutir opened

Mega Vision Restoration Camps conducted in Sheopur today (14th March).

Organised by Parivaar Sheopur Seva Kutir team in collabiration with Sri Sadguru (Ranchhoddas) Sankalp Netra Chikitsalay in 2 locations of Khirkhiri and Bargawan in Karahal block, where in all 334 patients mobilised from 70 tribal villages were examined and 110 are being taken for Cataract surgeries. More than 200 given spectacles and offered medication. Also Mega Vision Restoration Camps conducted in Sheopur today (14th March).

Parivaar Seva Kutirs in Dindori

We are happy to share that Parivaar Seva Kutirs are entering 8th district in MP – that of Dindori on the eastern fringe of the state. Dindori has mainly Baiga tribes which are classified as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group. Dindori, which was earlier part of Mandla district, has an overwhelmingly large percent of tribal Parivaar Seva Kutirs in Dindori

A few months back we embarked upon a new line of service using our Seva Kutir platform – that of restoring vision of at least 2000 vulnerable elderly across more than 250 highly impoverished tribal villages in 7 districts of Madhya Pradesh. 16th Feb to 18th Feb

16th Feb to.18th Feb : 42 elderly taken by Parivaar from Sehore district to Sadguru (Ranchhoddas) Sankalp Netralaya at Anandpur and undergo free cataract surgeries, medication and other vision support. We are now sending groups of 40-50 elderly every week and aimed at making our field areas across 240 villages in 7 districts cataract-free. The 16th Feb to 18th Feb

Two New Basketball Courts at Parivaar Bengal institutions

Two new courts – one at our boys’ campus and another at our girls’ campus are now ready and being used for training. Each court has lights and a viewers’ gallery too. The court at the Girls’ campus has been sponsored by Sachin Tendulkar. We have a fine Coaching Program run by Hi5 Foundation – Two New Basketball Courts at Parivaar Bengal institutions

3rd Round of Vision Restoration for elderly from Karahal (Sheopur)

On 3rd Feb, a group of 70 persons were taken by bus to Sadguru (Ranchhoddas) Seva Sangh Trust Hospital at Anandpur 250 km away (which included 54 elderly, 12 of their family attendants, and 4 of our sevavratees as coordinators). The group stayed for 2 days. 40 of them had their cataract surgeries done, 13 3rd Round of Vision Restoration for elderly from Karahal (Sheopur)

Scaling up of our hostels in Mandla district MP

Happy to share that we have scaled up the capacities of our hostels in Mandla town where girls and boys from Grade 9 to 12 are enrolled. There are now 82 girls in Parivaar Bhagini Nivedita Sadan and 56 boys in Parivaar Vivekananda Vidyarthi Sadan. All these boys and girls are from our 30 Seva Scaling up of our hostels in Mandla district MP

Starting of Parivaar Vivekananda Arogya Kutir – A Multi-speciality Clinic serving the underprivileged

We are delighted to announce the starting of a multi specialty clinic serving the underprivileged rural community in District 24 Parganas (South), West Bengal. The medical centre named as Parivaar Vivekananda Arogya Kutir (PVAK) was inaugurated on 12th January, the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
