6000 sarees presented to elderly in tribal villages of MP.

Distribution of 6000 sarees to poor elderly women on Sarada Devi Janmatithi This 5th January, on the occasion of the Janma Tithi of Holy Mother Sarada Devi, we presented more than 6000 sarees to vulnerable poor elderly women across 215 tribal villages in 6 districts in MP. The elderly women guests were also treated with 6000 sarees presented to elderly in tribal villages of MP.

Conclusion of Parivaar Winter Relief for Vulnerable Elderly (13 thousand blankets distributed) We finished our Relief Efforts with a 4 day camp covering more than 40 adivasi villages of Jhargram district in West Bengal where 1500 elderly were served with warm Ludhiana blankets. Parivaar Winter Relief in Sundarbans

Parivaar team in Sundarbans (Winter Relief and Field Engagement) The Parivaar Bengal Sevavratee team camped in Sundarbans and visited more than a dozen villages, many of which were islands. These are the areas which lost almost everything in the Amphan earlier this year. Week-long Field Engagement Exercise in Birbhum

Our sevavratee team spent a week in Ilambazar block in Birbhum visiting more than 40 tribal villages. These are the areas from where we have taken 400 children into residential institutions. Our team studied conditions in these areas and listed vulnerable elderly and chidren. Also around 600 vulnerable elderly have been gifted blankets as a Week-long Field Engagement Exercise in Birbhum

Whole of the last month I spent in our field areas in districts of Khandwa, Dewas, and Chhindwara. I along with my companions, conducted 26 village community meetings and visited and surveyed many more tribal villages where we will set up more Seva Kutirs. Parivaar Winter Relief for Uncared for Elderly

8000 blankets distributed to vulnerable elderly across more than 200 tribal villages in 7 districts of Madhya Pradesh. We completed this big logistical exercise last week. Quality blankets were ordered from Ludhiana in Punjab and ferried to more than 200 villages, many of which did not have any roads.
