Parivaar Seva Kutirs in Balaghat
We are happy to announce that we have started 12 Seva Kutirs (sercung about 800 children) in extremely impoverished Birsa block of Balaghat district in Madhya Pradesh. This region predominantly has the Baiga tribal community which is classified as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG).
We already have 3 ambulances (24×365) in 3 blocks of Balaghat as also a mobile clinic that serves 50 villages.
We are endeavouring to increase the number of Seva Kutirs as also more Mobile Medical Clinics in Balaghat.
Balaghat is the only district in MP which has Naxalite problems. A part of the famous Kanha National Park is also located in the district.
It is extraordinary that while there are highly expensive luxury resorts in a certain area of the district (like Mukki Gate of the Kanha Park), the inhabitants of the area have never entered or viewed the Park and have been mere onlookers to the incomparably privileged tourists who flock the Park – the twain represent almost different species of mankind.
