Special Milestone : 2 million (20 Lac) patients served by Parivaar Mobile Medical Clinics

Our 43 Mobile Medical Clinics (MMCs) serving 2243 impoverished and rwnite tribal villages in 20 districts of Madhya Pradesh have today (6th September  ’25) reached a special milestone of serving 20 Lac patients.

These 2243 tribal villages are served by these clinics in a fortnightly cycle.

At the present rate, these clinics are cumulatively serving 6 thousand patients everyday.

The first MMC was started on 14th June ’21 in Sheopur.

Our experience of working in remote and poor tribal villages in Madhya Pradesh had highlighted the dismal conditions of people suffering with various diseases or disabilities. Due to poverty, lack of access to effective treatment and doctors, they keep suffering from the illness without getting proper treatment. The worst hit are the elderly, womenfolk and children. Many of these illnesses are of chronic nature too. Therefore, we decided to launch mobile clinic service to serve such villages.

We employ a qualified doctor who visits 4-5 villages daily and examines around 100-150 patients. The clinics provide primary healthcare and also perform the crucial function of diagnosing serious ailments. Free medicines are provided to the patients. Those patients who are referred to Block or District Level Hospitals, because of serious illness, are also taken to these hospitals for treatment through our ambulance services. A significant number have been taken to higher centres like AIIMS Delhi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore etc.

The per person cost to us comes about Rs 56, which includes fuel cost, manpower costs, medical consultation and medicines.

The annual cost of running a single clinic is about Rs 16 Lacs.

We are endeavouring to set up around 15 more clinics in next 6 months.
