Today we are completing our 19th Financial Year. This year was one of phenomenal growth for our work.

West Bengal

In Bengal, we have 2 residential institutions for children (both boys and girls) from vulnerable and poor backgrounds. With around 1600 children, these are the largest free residential institutions for children from such backgrounds in West Bengal. We have been the recipient of the 2011 National Award for Child Welfare, by the Hon. President of India.

Madhya Pradesh

1. More than 60,000 poor tribal children being provided with high quality supplementary education along with 2 nutritious meals in Seva Kutir program. As on date there are 661 Seva Kutirs in operation in as many villages across 14 districts.

2. 95 Ambulances in tribal areas of 19 districts, serving thousands of persons. We aim to deploy 40 more ambulances in the next few months. In the last 10 months, these have served more than 39,000 patients.

3. Vision restoration- more than 27,000 persons operated for cataract and other eye ailments and 1.5 lakh plus patients with general examination, medicines and glasses in the last 10 months in 24 poor districts of MP.

4. Mobile Health Clinics in 8 districts, which have treated and provided free medicines to more than 2.35 lakh persons in the last 10 months.

5. Two Residential Institutions in Madhya Pradesh (Dewas and Mandla districts) for more than 500 students and one residential institution for tribal girls will start from FY 2022-23.

We.spent around Rs 70 Cr on all our projects this year. We had a workforce of 4200 Sevavratees, of which only 20.claimed a monthly remuneration of more than Rs 25,000, the highest being Rs 60 thousand. Our HR is deeply characterised by high austerity and grassroots cadre which gives a major cost advantage in all our pursuits.
