Happy to share that all our 159 Seva Kutirs (Meals and Education centres) in 159 tribal villages of 5 districts in Madhya Pradesh (Sheopur, Mandla, Dewas, Sehore, and Chhindwara), have restarted their full-fledged operations. The Kutirs are serving lunch and dinner to more than 16 thousand children in age-group of 3 to 15 and vulnerable elderly in the villages. These are the most impoverished pockets of malnourishment and penury in the state of MP.
While the sector has taken a huge hit resource-wise, we are still hopeful of setting up more Seva Kutirs (about 50 to 100 more) in the coming year and our 950 full-time field workers are strenuously working towards this.
