Defeat Eastern Raiilway Senior Women’s Team who had not lost even a single match in 27 years in this and several other tournaments in West Bengal. Parivaar Girls won in a match that went down to the wire (Scoreline 63:62)

Baishakhi Mardi was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’. Baishakhi is a 16 year old girl from a tribal village in Ilambazaar block in Birbhum (not far from Tagore’s Santiniketan) and has been a resident child at Parivaar for last 8 years.
